How old is my Nordheimer Player Piano serial number: 93020? The piano label says Nordheimer Toronto. The player mechanism has patent dates of 1915, 1916.

Biesseworks software download. it appears to be 1949. heintzman was building these at that time.

Nordheimer numbers stop at 1960 with 27xxx.
If the player unit dates from 1916 then you have found another number that is for something else;
Here are some Nordheimer numbers from that era;
1911= 11600
1912=12000
1913=13000
1914=14000
1915=15800
1916=16000
Notice something about the numbers?

this actually helped alot!! because of this im estimating my piano to be from around 1918. it matches the sequence of the other numbers.

Confirming this, we've got Nordheimer piano serial number 14644 and under the last key is hand-written beautifully:
tone July 23/14

By the way, it seems that they were tuned to A-435 Hz at that time from the facts that it doesn't hold 440 Hz long, I broke 2 strings (G,G# 2 octaves up from A-440), and finally from researches A440_(pitch_standard) on Wikipedia. I have it at 438 Hz because it's the lowest available on my electronic tuner. Also this way we can play along.

If mine says a serial number of 11376.. is it still 1911? Or is it before cuz you said the 1911 year starts at 11600
